Tom Ferencevic, president and CEO of Fitec Biogas, recently shared insights into the company’s innovative initiatives in an interview with Bioenergy Insight.
As per news report by Bioenergy Insight, Fitec Biogas specializes in process design and equipment supply for clients operating anaerobic digestion (AD) facilities, primarily serving the agricultural, agri-food, and urban organic waste sectors.
The company combines mechanical and biological expertise to design biogas plants, procure necessary equipment, and oversee or assist in the commissioning and construction phases.
“We pride ourselves on being a boutique firm that offers tailored solutions,” Ferencevic stated. “We avoid off-the-shelf or one-size-fits-all approaches just for profit.”
He emphasized the importance of the initial design phase, where Fitec collaborates with clients to create a facility that meets their specific needs, site conditions, and feedstock requirements.
As the construction phase begins, Ferencevic noted that the company has identified several best practices over the years that facilitate a smoother process.
