Biogas Engineering (BGE) has announced the appointment of Greg DiCosola as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective October 7. DiCosola will report directly to Gautam Arora, the company’s CEO and founder.
DiCosola, based in Sammamish, Washington, brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic leadership, technology development, and product deployment to BGE. He is accomplished with all stages of a project lifecycle from concept to commercialization and is a passionate leader in the development and growth of sustainable technologies. Greg earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago, holds a PE in CO, IA, NV, and NY, and has been awarded several patents related to renewable fuels and clean technology.
Before joining BGE, DiCosola served as Senior Vice President of Project Execution at Fortera Global, where he was responsible for creating department structures, Stage Gate workflows, and other processes essential for scaling and executing numerous projects. He also developed project control workflows to monitor performance and ensure that projects stayed on schedule and within budget.
At BGE, DiCosola will oversee Operations, which includes Project Management, Engineering, and Electrical & Controls. According to the company, reporting directly to Greg will be Shital Sanghavi and both Nek Singh Thakur and Tinju Panicker will have a dotted line to him.
