Pak Suzuki signs MoU with the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad to work together on cooperative research and development of biogas

Pak Suzuki Motor Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation in Pakistan, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) to collaborate on research and development in biogas technology.

The MoU signing ceremony took place on 19 September at the UAF campus, attended by key figures including Hiroshi Kawamura, managing director of Pak Suzuki, and Professor Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, vice chancellor of UAF.

This agreement encompasses joint research and development of biogas technology and organic fertilizers, a commercial feasibility study for the project, resource and information sharing, as well as advanced research initiatives.

The collaboration aims to promote socio-economic development and contribute to achieving carbon neutrality in Pakistan.
