Solex Energy Limited (NSE: SOLEX), a prominent Indian solar technology manufacturer, has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia-based TT Vision Holdings Berhad (KLSE: TTVHB), a global leader in automation technology. This strategic collaboration aims to enhance automation in solar production, foster engineering excellence, and develop specialized talent within India’s renewable energy sector.
The alliance leverages Solex’s nearly 30 years of expertise in solar manufacturing and TT Vision’s advanced capabilities in automation, inspection systems, and high-tech equipment. By combining their strengths, the two companies plan to strengthen India’s fast-growing solar manufacturing ecosystem.
As part of the MoU, TT Vision will provide targeted technical training for Solex engineers at its Penang, Malaysia facility, as well as at TT Vision’s forthcoming operations in India. The training program will cover automation systems, solar inspection processes, manufacturing equipment, and international best practices. In addition, Solex will receive priority access to TT Vision’s automation solutions, supporting research and development, new product launches, and process optimization initiatives. Solex will also act as a key partner for the deployment of TT Vision’s future automation technologies.
TT Vision will further assist Solex by offering consultancy on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Lean management, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving techniques, ensuring operational efficiency during production scale-up. Conversely, Solex will help TT Vision navigate the Indian market by advising on manufacturing setup, supply chain management, and regulatory engagement.
The MoU is initially set for 36 months and carries no legal or financial obligations for either party. Each company retains ownership of its intellectual property, with any joint developments subject to future agreements.
