Proficient Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has successfully completed the erection of a 60 KLPD molasses and syrup-based distillery plant for Mohanrao Shinde Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. in Arag, Maharashtra.
The project has now entered the water trial stage, marking an important milestone ahead of further testing and commissioning of the distillery facility.
The 60 KLPD distillery plant is designed to process molasses and syrup as feedstock, adding distillery capacity to the sugar factory’s operations. The completion of the erection work marks a significant project milestone for Proficient Engineering and its project execution team.
With water trials now underway, the project is progressing towards the subsequent stages of testing and commissioning.
The development also reflects the continuing expansion of distillery infrastructure within Maharashtra’s sugar industry, with sugar mills investing in value-added processing of molasses and syrup.
