Goldwind and Entek Elektrik have signed a cooperation agreement for the Maya Wind Power Project in Türkiye, marking their fourth consecutive collaboration and taking their cumulative cooperation capacity to 230.1 MW.
The latest agreement extends a relationship that has already covered the Büyükkışla, Eren and Süloğlu Extension wind power projects. The companies did not disclose the Maya project’s capacity in the announcement.
Goldwind to Supply GWH182 Wind Turbines
Under the Maya Wind Power Project, Goldwind will supply its GWH182 series smart wind turbines. The agreement also covers lifecycle support for the project, including installation, commissioning and long-term operation and maintenance services.
The collaboration therefore combines turbine supply with ongoing technical support throughout the project’s operating life.
Goldwind said the agreement reflects its continued focus on wind-power technology, project delivery and localised lifecycle services in Türkiye.
Fourth Collaboration with Entek Elektrik
Maya follows three earlier wind projects developed through cooperation between Goldwind and Entek Elektrik: Büyükkışla, Eren and the Süloğlu Extension project.
With the addition of Maya, the companies said their cumulative cooperated capacity has reached 230.1 MW.
The latest agreement adds to Goldwind’s activity in the Turkish wind market as the country continues to expand renewable electricity generation and diversify its power mix.
Wind Power Supports Türkiye’s Energy Transition
The Maya project is part of the companies’ broader cooperation in Türkiye’s renewable-energy sector. Goldwind said its work with Entek Elektrik is intended to support the country’s energy transition through wind-power technology and localised project services.
The companies have not disclosed further details on the Maya project’s investment value, construction schedule, expected generation capacity or commissioning date.
Bioenergy Business Analysis
The fourth collaboration between Goldwind and Entek Elektrik illustrates how repeat partnerships can build continuity across turbine procurement, project execution and long-term operations and maintenance. The cumulative 230.1 MW cooperation figure provides an indication of the scale of the relationship, although the capacity of the newly announced Maya project remains undisclosed.
For Türkiye’s wind sector, the agreement also highlights the growing importance of lifecycle support alongside turbine supply. Installation, commissioning and long-term O&M services can influence project availability and operating performance over the asset’s lifetime, making the structure of supplier partnerships an important consideration as renewable generation capacity expands.
