Truzon Clean Energies secures Rs 236 crore EPC order for 72 MW solar projects in Maharashtra

Truzon Clean Energies Pvt Ltd has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order worth approximately Rs 236 crore from Hariom Power & Energy Private Limited for 72 MW of ground-mounted solar power projects in Maharashtra.

Truzon Clean Energies Pvt Ltd has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order worth approximately Rs 236 crore from Hariom Power & Energy Private Limited for 72 MW of ground-mounted solar power projects in Maharashtra.

The projects will be developed across Hingoli, Latur, Parbhani and Beed districts to support agricultural solarisation. According to the project details, 15 MW of capacity has already been executed, while the remaining work will involve the development and installation of solar infrastructure across the four districts.

Truzon to Deliver End-to-End Solar Project Execution

The EPC contract covers the full project lifecycle, including engineering and design, equipment procurement, construction and installation. Truzon will also undertake testing, commissioning and performance demonstration as part of its turnkey responsibilities.

The projects are intended to expand solar power infrastructure supporting agricultural energy requirements in Maharashtra. Ground-mounted solar installations can contribute to renewable electricity generation while supporting initiatives aimed at increasing solar energy use in the agricultural sector.

Projects Expected to Generate 89.89 Million Units Annually

Once commissioned, the 72 MW solar portfolio is expected to generate approximately 89.89 million units of electricity annually, subject to final project specifications and operating conditions.

The order adds to Maharashtra’s renewable energy project pipeline, with implementation spread across four districts. The extent to which the projects contribute to agricultural solarisation will depend on their commissioning, operational performance and the arrangements governing electricity use and supply.

The company announcement does not specify a completion timeline for the remaining capacity or provide a detailed breakdown of project allocations by district.

Bioenergy Business Analysis

Truzon’s Rs 236 crore EPC order reflects continued activity in India’s distributed and ground-mounted solar infrastructure market, particularly in projects linked to agricultural energy requirements. The development also highlights the role of EPC contractors in translating renewable energy investment into operational generation capacity.

The projected annual output of 89.89 million units provides an indication of the portfolio’s anticipated generation potential. However, actual output will depend on commissioning schedules, solar irradiation, equipment performance and operational conditions.

For Maharashtra, projects across Hingoli, Latur, Parbhani and Beed could contribute to the expansion of solar infrastructure in agricultural regions. The key milestones to monitor are completion of the remaining capacity, commissioning of the full 72 MW portfolio and confirmation of its operating performance. The announcement does not disclose a project completion date or the specific agricultural solarisation scheme under which the installations will operate.
